We have landed in Israel! After the 10 hour flight over from Newark, we touched down at Ben Gurion International Airport this afternoon. Everyone made it through customs and baggage claim without a problem, and we went outside to meet up with our Israeli staff for the trip including our awesome tour guide, Barak, and our driver and medic. We then got back into travel mode for a 3 hour ride up to the north of Israel, to a Druze village named Peki’in, where we will be staying for the next few days. A quick dinner and intro session was just about all our tired bodies could handle, so we are tucking in for an early night! Everyone is in good spirits, and looking forward to the wonderful events that tomorrow has in store!
