Hello from Kibbutz Tze’elim! Today was filled with adventure and lots of tea. We started the day with a meeting with an Ethiopian woman and a walk around her village. It was a great insight into the lives of Jews who come from a place different from many of us. After the tour we bused to an agricultural center where we learned about drip irrigation and picked and ate incredible cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and passion fruit right off the vine! We then had a relaxing afternoon back at the kibbutz filled with soccer, swimming, and sleeping. The day was finished at another kibbutz where we all worked together to cook an amazing dinner of pita, chicken and salad. The sun set beautifully on a great day, and we drove back to our kibbutz to sleep. – Caleb S-S
